For nearly a decade, I worked at the intersection of marketing, brand strategy, and advertising. I've had the privilege of leading global campaigns that championed sustainability, bringing innovative products to audiences around the world, and creating spaces where communities could connect around conscious living.
But one day, I asked myself why I wasn't doing what I always wanted: Working for and with wildlife. That's when I started to learn more about the ocean, experienced conservation with my own hands and understood the importance of marine megafauna.
Almar is the natural next step in my journey. My attempt to give a voice to those who can't speak. My belief that businesses and individuals can do well and do good at the same time.
It's where I bring everything I've learned — the strategy, the storytelling, the empathy, the knowledge — to help build a world where the ocean still has cetaceans and sea turtles in it, for the people who come after us.
The expeditions are just the first part, more projects are building up behind the curtains and will be ready to share by 2027 (if everything goes right!).
I'm so glad you're here! Whether you're a longtime believer in this mission or just starting to explore what impact looks like for you, there's a place for you in this community.
Welcome to Almar.
With love,
Mariana.
